Personal Care & Daily Living
Hands-on help with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility, delivered with patience and an unwavering respect for privacy.
The Care That Decides Whether Home Is Still Realistic
Personal care is the part families dread discussing and the part that most often determines whether someone can stay at home. When a shower becomes dangerous, when dressing takes forty minutes, when getting off the toilet is a two person job, the question stops being emotional and becomes practical.
Our caregivers are trained in safe transfer technique, fall prevention and incontinence care. Just as importantly, they are trained to preserve dignity: door closed, towel ready, no rushing, no commentary. Most clients who resisted help for months settle within a week or two once they see it handled properly.

Not sure this is the right level of care?
That is exactly what the free assessment is for. A coordinator will look at the whole picture and tell you honestly what your family needs, even if it is not us.

That is the goal and we schedule for it. Personal care depends on trust, and trust does not survive a rotating cast. We assign a primary caregiver and a small backup team who already know the routine.
Yes. For personal care in particular, gender preference is a completely reasonable request and we honor it.
Very common. We usually start with lower intensity tasks, let the relationship form over a couple of weeks, then introduce personal care once the caregiver is a familiar presence rather than a stranger.
When the assessment shows a transfer cannot be done safely by one caregiver, we will say so and staff it accordingly. We will not send one person into an unsafe lift.
